Personal life

His proper name is Muhammad Ashraf Tai. He was born on 25 May 1947 in Sittwe, Myanmar. He is fond of martial arts. He was born in Burma. Later his family migrated to East Pakistan (Bangladesh). After the civil war broke out in East Pakistan, they then moved to West Pakistan in 1970. He then settled down in Karachi.

Career

He started his career in Karachi. He explained that on his first day in Karachi, he was in search of work and roaming in the streets. He saw the bodybuilder there. He won the black belt in Bando style at the age of 16. From where he impressed. And then he starts teaching at Hill Park. He improved his financial status. He is the founder of the Pakistan Karate Federation. Later, he was affiliated with the Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Sports Board. 

Tai has been doing karate since the age of 9. His trainer’s name was Lee Phown Shin.
